- December 14, 1988: Vanessa Anne Hudgens is born in Salinas, California.
- 1995: Vanessa begins performing musical theater at the age of eight. Moves to Hollywood with her family to pursue her acting/singing career.
- August 20, 2003: She made her feature film debut in ‘’Thirteen’’.
- September 26, 2006: Vanessa's debut album V is released.
- January 20, 2006: High School Musical makes it’s debut. Vanessa and co-star Zac Efron win the "Best Chemistry" award at the Teen Choice Awards for their roles.
- 2006: Vanessa appears in TV commercial for Old Navy.
- 2006: Vanessa tours with The Cheetah Girls in support of her album.
- 2007: Vanessa signs a deal with Neutrogena to be their new spokesperson.
- April 13, 2007: High School Musical 2 makes it’s debut. It is seen by 17.2 million viewers making it the most watched basic cable telecast in history.
- August 2007: Vanessa confirms in an interview with People magazine she is dating co-star Zac Efron
- September 6, 2007: Infamous nude photo of Vanessa appears on the internet.
- September 7, 2007: Vanessa publicly apologizes for photo.
- September 18, 2007: Disney reportedly does not want Vanessa starring in High School Musical 3.
- October 23, 2007: Vanessa signs $1 Million deal with Skechers.
