Swarm of Tremors
The area off Vancouver Island where the earthquake occurred has been experiencing a swarm of quakes in recent days. Seismologists say that the quakes are occuring in a seismically active area and that they are too far offshore to be felt on land. Seismologists also say that although they occur at sea, they are too small to create a tsunami.
