Valleywag is an often controversial blog covering the day to day news and rumors of Silicon Valley. Valleywag runs under the leadership of editor Owen Thomas and is a part of Gawker Media. Much of the controversy surrounding Valleywag comes from the unsubstantiated rumors which are often posted to the site, which may or may not prove to be true, but regardless represent content that traditional media sources and mainstream blogs would not publish.
