Up Movie

Up! is the tenth animated feature film by Pixar. It is directed by Pete Doctor and Bob Peterson and stars Ed Asner, Christopher Plummer, Jordan Nagai and John Ratzenberger. Up! is set for release by Disney Pictures on May 29, 2009.

Up! tells the story of an old man named Carl (voiced by Ed Asner). As a young man, Carl fell in love with a girl named Ellie, and the two would fantasize about adventuring in South America together. The two got married, but Eliie died shortly after, and they never got to go on their adventure. Now, as an old man, Carl's house is being threatened by pending construction. He meets a chubby boy scout by the name of Russell, and the two of them fly Carl's house (by attaching a lot of balloons to it) down to South America.
