Tutankhamun (or King Tut) was a Pharaoh of the Eighteenth dynasty, during the period of Egyptian history known as the New Kingdom. His tomb was discovered in 1922 in the Valley of the Kings completely intact. The artifacts from the tomb have toured worldwide in blockbuster museum exhibitions. Fast Facts:
