Trigonometry is also known as "trig". It is a branch of mathematics that explores triangles and the relationships of sides and degrees.

  1. Triangle: Polygon with 3 sides and 3 angles
  2. Right Angle: Angle that measures 90 degrees or one half of a Pi radian
  3. Right Triangle: A triangle with one right angle
  4. Hypotenuse: The side of a triangle that is directly opposite of the right angle
  5. Pythagorean Theorem: States that the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides in a right triangle
  6. Trigonometric Functions: Sine, Cosine, Tangent, Cotangent, Secant, Cosecant
