Travis Barker is the former drummer of the band Blink 182. In 2008, Barker collaborated with DJ AM on a mixtape.

On September 29, 2008, shorty after performing at a show in South Carolina, both Barker and DJ AM in a plane that crashed off the runway as it attempted to take off. Four people died in the accident.

September 19, 2008 Plane Crash

On September 19, 2008, Barker was injured in a plane crash. Both he and DJ AM were onboard a jet that crashed in South Carolina, after a performance. The crash left four people dead; both DJ AM and Barker were severely burned. According to reports, Baker is burned on his face and below his waist, over 50 percent of his body. Barker is in critical but stable condition.¹
