Career Highlights
Tony Zendejas began his football career playing in the United States Football League for the Los Angeles Express. Zendejas was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 1984, but did not play until 1985.3 While playing for the Houston Oilers, from 1985-1990, Zendejas converted eighty-nine of ninety-four feild goal attempts. Over the course of his career, Zendejas made one-hundred eighty-six good field goals.4
Rape Trial
A woman claims that on January 26, 2008 Zendejas put something in her drink at his nightclub. She allegedly became tired and woke up in a nearby motel, discovering she had been raped. Zendejas was arrested at his home and released on bail.5 If convicted, Zendejas could face up to 15 years in prison.5
