Tony Alamo
Tony Alamo is the leader of the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries in Fouke, Arkansas. On September 25, 2008, Alamo was arrested at an Arizona hotel on suspicion of transporting minors across state lines for the purpose of sex. Alamo's headquarters were raided by the FBI on September 20, 2008, after a two-year long investigation into child abuse.
On September 25, 2008, Alamo was arrested on charges that he violated the Mann Act, a law prohibiting the transportation of children for illegal purposes. In this case, the purpose was for sexual activity according to the FBI.1
