Career
Originally a member of the singing group The Braxtons, Toni Braxton gained fame as a solo singer. Her self-titled debut album, which featured the Top 10 hits "Another Sad Love Song" and "Breathe Again," hit #1 on the Billboard 200 in 1993.
Braxton's second album, Secrets, peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200, and spawned the #1 singles "You're Makin' Me High" and "Un-Break My Heart."2
Braxton has won six Grammy Awards to date, including five for "Best Female R&B Vocal Performance."3
In 2006, Braxton set up a residency at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, performing her show Toni Braxton: Revealed several days a week. In May 2008, the show was reportedly canceled due to Braxton's health issues.4
