Toby Hall

Toby Hall is a catcher for the Chicago White Sox. The San Francisco Giants originally drafted Hall out of high school in the 24th round of the1995 amateur draft. Hall declined a contract however, and went on to attend American River College, before becoming an All-American catcher at UNLV. Following his collegiate career, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays selected Hall in the 9th round of the 1997 amateur draft. Hall made his MLB debut with the Rays, and played six and a half seasons with the team before the traded him along with Mark Hendrickson and cash to the Los Angeles Dodgers, for Dioner Navarro, Jae Weong Seo, and Justin Ruggiano. Hall signed with thw White Sox as a free agent in 2007.
