Directors Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson are teaming up to adapt Herge's poplar comic series The Adventures of Tintin into a series of films. The series will include three films made back-to-back and will utilize a 3-D motion capture technique developed by Weta Digital special effects company.1 It was confirmed at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, that Spielberg would direct the first film, Jackson the second and both would co-direct the third.2

The Adventures of Tintin
The Adventures of Tintin follow the Tintin, a young Belgian reporter and traveler, and his faithful dog Snowy on their adventures around the world. In every adventure Tintin, while busy investigating a story, finds himself involved in dangerous cases which force him to take heroic action to save the day.
