Tim Montgomery
Tim Montgomery is a former American athlete and 100m record holder. The Olympic gold medal winner was arrested on April 30, 2008, after being indicted on a federal heroin distribution charge. He was sentenced to five years in the case after pleading guilty.1 The charges revolved around an alleged sale of 100 grams of heroin to a police informant.
He was convicted and sentenced to 46 months in prison for his part in a fraud scheme on May 16, 2008.
