Tibetan Mastiff Features

Strong in both bone and muscle, the tibetan mastiff has a broad head and large expressive brown eyes. Their eyes are medium sized and their neck is thick. Their outer coat is heavy and coarse, while their under coat is soft and becomes sparse in warm weather. Usually found in black, brown, or grey, some tibetan mastiffs have tan markings around the eyes and on either size of the muzzle.¹

Tibetan Mastiff Temperament

The tibetan mastiff is an even-tempered dog who is very protective and loving. Fearless and wary of strangers, they are somewhat comfortable with other animals after a slow introduction.³
