Thottbot
Thottbot.com is a popular online database for the MMORPG World of Warcraft. The site offers detailed information on classes, items, quests, professions and a score of other WoW-related minutiae.
Information is supplied to the website using an external program called Cosmos Patcher, which collects data directly from within the game. Users who don't want to use the Cosmos Patcher can provide information to the Thottbot database by using a World of Warcraft addon, which saves game information to a .lua file. This can then be uploaded manually to Thottbot.com.
Affinity Media, parent company of Thottbot, also owns Allakhazam and Wowhead. All three sites offer similar content on World of Warcraft.1 2
