Thomas Kohnstamm

Guide Note: Thomas Kohnstamm is a former writer for the popular travel publication Lonely Planet. While working at Lonely Planet, Kohnstamm admittedly plagiarized parts of his books, while dealing drugs for additional income. Kohnstamm based some of his entries on informatin received from a consulate intern in Columbia, he's said to have been dating. After learning that Kohnstamm had never been to some of the countries he was writing about, Lonely Planet reviewed Kohnstamm's contributions, and claims no inaccuracies. Kohnstamm's new book Do Travel Writers Go to Hell?, is scheduled for release on April 22, 2008.
