Thomas Jane
Thomas Jane is an American movie actor. He is best known for his role as Frank Castle in the 2004's The Punisher.
Jane's early supporting roles in movies included Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Crow: City of Angels, Boogie Nights, The Thin Red Line, and others.

The Punisher
Thomas Jane's biggest role came in 2004 when he was cast as the lead in the film adaptation of Marvel Comics' The Punisher. Jane originally turned down the role twice, saying that he did not see him self as a superhero and did not have interest in doing superhero films. When asked again to do the film, Jane became interested after seeing Tim Bradstreet's artwork of the Punisher, and when learning that the character was more of a vigilante anti-hero. To prepare for the role, Jane read many of the Punisher comics and trained with Navy Seals for several months to get in shape.
Jane was originally set to reprise his role in Punisher: War Zone, but pulled out of the project.
