Guide Note: The husband of Michigan's Sen. Debbie Stabenow, and cofounder of a liberal talk radio network, Thomas Athans told police that he paid a prostitute for sex. The admission came after Athans was pulled over and ticketed for driving with a suspended license. Upon questioning, he said that he had been at a hotel with a woman he met on the internet, and paid her $150 for sex.
