Plot Synopsis

Though his parents cannot see them, a boy believes there are monsters lurking everywhere he goes. Upon seeing an advertisement for karate classes, the boy decides to take matters into his own hands.

By learning different moves to vanquish the monsters, the boy gains enough confidence to overcome his fears, though Mayer's comical monster artwork seems to depict that what scared the boy most was his own imagination.
