Plot Summary
Veteran Secret Service agent Pete Garrison (Michael Douglas) is in charge of security for First Lady Sarah Ballentine (Kim Basinger), with whom he is having an affair. However, when one of his colleagues is murdered while investigating a potential spy behind a plot to kill the president, Garrison is framed for the murder and fired from his position. While he is being pursued by fellow agents David Breckinridge (Kiefer Sutherland) and Jill Marin (Eva Longoria), Garrison searches for evidence that will clear his name while trying to uncover the real mole behind the assassination attempt.
