The Invasion, a 2007 film starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig, is a remake of The Invasion of the Body Snatchers, where an alien life form lands on earth and causes a mysterious epidemic to spread through the population, consuming people and essentially turning them into zombie-like creatures. The film received little critical praise, earning only a 19% "Fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film was also a commercial failure, with an international gross of $39.8 million, against a $65 million budget.
