The Harry Potter Lexicon

The Harry Potter Lexicon was a fansite created for fans of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter novels. When Rowling learned the fansite planned on publishing a book entitled The Lexicon, she sued claiming they would make money off of her creations. On September 8, 2008, after numerous court appearances, a judge officially ordered that the book could not be published.¹
