The Guitar Movie

The Guitar is a dramatic American independent film that premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. The film was directed by first time filmmaker Amy Redford, daughter of legendary actor and founder of the Sundance Film Festival, Robert Redford. The film's plot concerns a woman who jumps into a life of excess and pursues her life-long passion to learn the guitar after learning she only has two months to live.

About the Director

Amy Redford studied at the University of Colorado and also trained in theater acting in San Francisco and London. She has acted in numerous films including Sunshine Cleaning, The Drum Beats Twice, and First Person Singular.
