Thanksgiving desserts are usually a sweet treat eaten after the Thanksgiving feast. The most recognized Thanksgiving dessert is pumpkin pie.

Many people are tempted to pack in as much food as possible on Thanksgiving. However, there is an upside to saving a little room after the turkey, potatoes, and stuffing. Dessert at Thanksgiving is just as important as the main meal. The traditional Thanksgiving dessert is pumpkin pie, but other treats are often included in the spread. Pecan pie is another favorite, as well as apple pie. Thanksgiving cupcakes can be a decorative yet tasty treat. Nontraditional, fancier desserts can include red velvet cakes, assorted sorbets and caramel nut tarts.
