Terry McAuliffe
Terry McAuliffe is the former head of Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign. He is reportedly considering running for Governor of Virginia in 2009. McAuliffe was also the Democratic National Committee Chairman from 2001 to 2005. He has spent the last 25 years helping others get elected to political office by fund raising and being in support positions.1

Gubernatorial Run?
Reports began to surface in August, 2008 that Terry McAullife was considering running for Governor of Virginia in 2009. Although this has not been confirmed, McAullife is on record as saying that he has not ruled it out.3 On a September 8 episode of Hardball, host Chris Matthews stated emphatically that McAuliffe would run, but did not cite his source.4 Two Democrats, Brian J. Moran and R. Creigh Deeds, have already formally announced they are running for the office.3
