Sweet Child O Mine
Sweet Child O Mine is a Guns N' Roses single from their 1987 debut album Appetite for Destruction. It is considered by fans and music critics to be the band's most famous song. The lyrics are about Axl Rose's girlfriend at the time, Erin Everly, who he later married. The song reached the top of the Billboard 100 List in September 1988. This was the only Guns N' Roses song ever to reach number one in the charts. The Sweet Child O' Mine video depicts the band rehearsing in an abandoned theater. The song was put into PS2 game Guitar Hero II in November 2006.1

Third Verse?
The song originally had a third verse which was dropped because it was thought the song would go on for two long. The producer cut song even shorter from the original 5:56 minutes to 4:20 minutes. The purpose of this was to make it appeal more to MTV and radio stations.
