Sweeney Todd Soundtrack
Notably one of the few Tim Burton film scores not composed by Danny Elfman, the dark, brass-heavy cues for the 2007 film Sweeney Todd were written by Stephen Sondheim, the original composer for the Broadway play.
The songs, meanwhile, were sung by the film's cast: Johnny Depp (as Sweeney), Helena Bonham Carter (as Mrs. Lovett), Jayne Wisener (as Johanna Barker), Jamie Campbell Bower (as Anthony Hope), and Ed Sanders (as Tobais Ragg).
Two versions of the soundtrack were released. Aside from packaging differences, the "Deluxe Complete Edition" featured only three more tracks than the "Highlights" version.
