Super-Besse is a ski resort situated seven kilometers from Besse et Saint Anastaise, France. It is in the Puy de Dôme department of Auvergne. The resort claims 45 kilometers of ski slopes on the Puy de Sancy mountain range.1

2008 Tour de France
Super-Besse is the arrival city for the sixth stage of the 2008 Tour de France. Riders start their journey in Aigurande and travel 195.5 kilometers up the highest mountain climb of that point in the race. They will hit an altitude of 1289 meters. 2008 will be the Tour's third visit to Super-Besse.3
