Sun Bowl
The Sun Bowl, sponsored by Brut, is an annual United States college football bowl game. Generally played in late December, the Sun Bowl hosts the Pac-10 champion, unless that team plays in a BCS game, and one team from the Big 12, Big East or Notre Dame.1

History
The first Sun Bowl was played on January 1, 1935, and featured two Texas high school teams. In 2004, a Sun Bowl record of 51,288 people watched Arizona State defeat Purdue. The UTEP Miners have won the Sun Bowl more than any other team, winning in 1950, 1954, 1955 and 1965.2
