Sulpicio Lines is a Philippine ferry company based in Manila. The company owned the MV Princess of the Stars ferry that capsized in the Philippines during Typhoon Fengshen.

MV Princess of the Stars
On June 21, 2008, the Sulpicio Lines' ferry MV Princess of the Stars capsized in high seas from Typhoon Fengshen. At the time, more than 800 passengers were on board. As of June 23, 2008, only 38 people had been rescued.5
Philippine President Gloria Arroyo harshly criticized Sulpicio Lines and the country's coast guard for letting the ferry depart during bad weather.6
