The term suicide food was popularized by the successful blog Suicide Food. The blog features real logos of food and restaurant brands with animals who act like they want to be consumed. The site grades the logos with "Psych Evaluations". One Noose represents a score of "Mildly troubling", two nooses a score of "Appalling", three nooses a score of "Perverse", four nooses a score of "Deeply disturbed and disturbing", and five nooses a score of "Ye gods! I must go wash out my eyeballs!". The site began in 2006 and is run by Ben of Seattle, Washington. In 2007, it was noted as one of Magazine|PC Magazine's 100 favorite blogs.¹
