Sterling Blackwell

Sterling Blackwell, a 15-year-old boy living in Catonsville, Maryland with his mother and seven other adults was kidnapped along with his brother, Stephon Blackwell, on Tuesday, April 1, 2008.

Police reports indicate that Sterling Blackwell and Stephon Blackwell were abducted by six men that broke into the house they were living at. The men reportedly were wearing masks and brandishing guns. They duct taped all of the occupants in the house then left taking the two brothers with them.

On Tuesday evening the BMW believed to have been used to escape was found in Patterson Park in Baltimore. Police are still looking for a second getaway car, a a silver or gray Chevy Suburban.

A relative of the boys brought them to the Baltimore County Police Headquarters on April 4, 2008 for questioning in regards to their whereabouts for the two days after the kidnapping.

When juvenile records were accessed they showed that both boys were arrested five times each for marijuana distribution and second-degree assault however, authorities do not feel that they had anything to do with their disappearance. Fast Facts:
