Guide Note:A secondary character on the MTV semi-reality show, The Hills, Stephanie Pratt is the sister of character Spencer Pratt. She is attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with co-star Lauren Conrad.

Theft Arrest On May 8, 2006, Pratt was arrested in Hawaii with friend Hannah Owens-Bender, 21, the daughter of a production executive for the ABC series, Lost. The girls, both age 20, had shoplifted more than $1,300 worth of clothing from Neiman Marcus. Drug Charges Drugs were allegedly found on Pratt, and she was charged with "promoting a dangerous drug" in the third degree, and "promoting a harmful drug" in the third and fourth degree. Owens-Bender was arrested on a similar charge. Outcome The drug charges were dropped the next day, and Pratt later pleaded guilty to second-degree theft, receiving a suspended sentence and a $3,000 fine. Pratt has since publicly claimed that the arrest was a much needed wake-up call, forcing her to deal with her drug and alcohol addiction. The Hills Character
