Singer and actress Stephanie Edwards was a contestant on the sixth season of the hit reality singing competition television show American Idol. She was voted off the show by the American public on March 21, 2007, in 11th place.

Edwards first started singing as a toddler. After taking voice lessons, she competed in It's Showtime at the Apollo and many other vocal contests.

She won a ticket to Hollywood week on American Idol, but was the only top 24 contestant that never got television time in audition week. Her performances for "Sweet Thing" and "Dangerously In Love" earned her the favor of the judges, but she was eliminated in 11th place after her rendition of "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" originally by Dusty Springfield.
