Guide Note:Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast is a Star Wars video game that was released in 2002 for the PC, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube. The game is based on the same engine as Quake III and features a very strong online multiplayer game as well as a single player system. This game takes place two years after the Mysteries of the Sith. In 2003, the sequel Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy was released.

Gameplay Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast is very similar in gameplay to it's predecessors, because you control one character and move along in gameplay at a steady rate. In the game there are several puzzles, which some of the non-players will help with, but most are solved by the player. You do not get a lightsaber in this game until after a few of the missions though. Instead you will get a blaster or a weapon similar to this. When you get a lightsaber, they are usable for everything that the movies and books depict, such as deflecting blasters, killing enemies, and many other things. Online Play Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast features a very robust online gameplay system. On both the PC and Mac OS X version of the game you can play with several different players, but are limited to 2 players on both the GameCube version and Xbox version. The game offers many online game modes, such as: Free for all and Capture the flag.
