Obama's E-Mail
Following the announcement that Kurtz would be a guest on Milt Rosenberg's radio program, the Obama campaign sent an e-mail to its supporters urging people to call WGN Radio 720. The e-mail described Kurtz as a "right-wing hatchet man" with "baseless, fear-mongering terrorist smears."2
Kurtz's Criticism of Obama
Stanley Kurtz has been critical of Barack Obama and his alleged connections with radical groups across the United States. Kurtz cited a connection between Obama and Weather Underground leader Bill Ayers.5 Ayers and other "Weathermen" took responsibility for 12 attacks, including on the Pentagon, in the 1970s.
