Spore Galactic Edition

The Galactic Edition of Spore was announced on June 24, 2008. The box will retail for $80 and will be available September 7, 2008. The box will contain:

1. Making of DVD
2. Art of Spore mini-book
3. Spore poster
4. 100-page handbook
5. DVD National Geographic Documentary on "How to Build a Better Being"

The National Geographic Documentary will air on TV September 9, 2008 at 10pm ET/PT.

Patrick Buechner, the vice president of marketing for Maxis, states that "The Spore Galactic Edition is the ultimate backstage pass for the Spore universe." ¹ The Galactic Edition is a limited edition and available for pre-order at Gamestop.com.
