Spore 3 Install Limit
The 2008 simulation game Spore uses a new version of a DRM system called SecuROM that will limit each copy of Spore to three installations. The 3 install limit triggers each time you upgrade your hardware, operating system or reformat your computer. Electronic Arts will grant additional installs on a case-by-case basis.1 This version of SecuROM was also used for the Spore Creature Creator and originally appeared in a more restrictive form in the PC version of Mass Effect.
