Spahn Ranch

The Spahn Ranch was a large parcel of California land used for the back drop of many western films from 1949-1972. The Ranch was occupied by Charles Manson and his followers during the spring of 1968. An arrangement was made between the owner George Spahn and female members of the Manson Family where sex was paid instead of rent. In March 2008 forensic experts announced they have discovered evidence of possible additional grave sites located at the ranch.
