- July 28, 1990: DeAndre Ramone Way is born in Chicago, Illinois.
- 1996: Moves to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 6 where he discovers rap music.
- 2004: Moves to Batesville, Mississippi at the age of 14.
- 2004: Returns to Atlanta and meets manager Derrick Crooms. Starts his own label called his Stacks on Deck Entertainment.
- October 2, 2007: Releases his debut album, souljaboytellem.Com on Interscope records.
- October 18, 2007: The single Crank That (Soulja Boy) tops the Hot 100 on Billboard for the sixth straight week.
