Isabella "Ivy" Valentine is one of many playable characters in Soul Calibur IV, a fighting game developed by Project Soul for the Xbox 360 and PS3. She has appeared in each Soul Calibur title since the first entry was released in 1998.
Despite being the illegitimate daughter of Cervantes, Ivy swore to destroy Soul Edge, the sword which previously belonged to her biological father. Unfortunately, the evil that coursed through her veins prevented her from being able to use Soul Calibur until she was eventually killed at the end of Soul Calibur III. After being revived by a magic spell, she was finally able to successfully purify herself and wield Soul Calibur.1
