Career Highlights
Sorana Cirstea was introduced to tennis at the age of four by her mother and father. By the age of fourteen, Cirstea played on her first ITF Circuit, wining two doubles titles. The following year she won her first singles title with the ITF, and by 2007 with excellent weeks in Budapest and Bali, moved from a rank of 325 to a rank of 169. Debuting at the Australian Open in January of 2008 and continuous tour play has moved Cirstea steadily up the ranks.1
