Snickerdoodles have a funny name, but they are a simple type of sugar cookie to make. They turn into soft, chewy cookies with a crystallized sugar outside. The balls of dough are rolled in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon before baking to give it that crunchy, sugary exterior.
