Slingshot Monkey neither comes with a separate slingshot, nor requires one. Its arms themselves have middle sections of elasticized rubber, which act as a built-in slingshot. To launch, the user plants his or her forefingers in loops that are sewn into the doll's paws, pulls back on the body and releases.

The screaming noise the monkey makes when launched is made by an electronic mechanism inside the body, and is apparently motion-triggered.
