Sling Media

Sling Media is the company behind Slingbox, a media streaming device which allows users to remotely watch and control their television feed, and SlingPlayer, a downloadable application for Windows and Mac computers. Sling Media was acquired by EchoStar in September, 2007 for $380 million.¹ The company's newest offering, Clip+Sling, made its beta debut on October 3, 2008.²
