Silent Hill Homecoming Refused Classification
Silent Hill: Homecoming has been refused classification in Australia. Is is the fourth game to be banned in the country this year. According to a spokesperson for Atari, which distributes Silent Hill in Australia, the classification board's comments in the rejection referred to "blood spray, decapitation, dismemberment and depictions of torture."1 The highest classification for video games in Australia is MA15+, making any game that surpasses that illegal.
