Temporary Suspension of Sales
On November 16, 2007, T-Mobile suspended the sale of the Sidekick Slide due to problems with the device shutting off unexpectedly. Owners of the Slide were given a free upgrade to the Sidekick LX. After research was done, Motorola and T-Mobile found the problem was due to faulty battery contacts. The problem was resolved and the Sidekick Slide was put up for sale again on December 6, 2007.
