Career

Sherri Shepherd began her career by working the stand up circuit in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois. Eventually she began to book small roles in movies such as Guess Who? and Beauty Shop. In 2005 Shepherd joined the panel of the Barbara Walters produced talk show The View.
