Sherlock Holmes Movie
Sherlock Holmes will officially be adapted into a full-length feature film based on the fictional detective starring Robert Downey Jr. as the lead character.1 Director Guy Ritchie has stated that he will adhere as close as possible to original storyline from the book series by author Arthur Conan Doyle.1 Jude Law is cast as Holmes' sidekick, Dr. Watson. Also the only woman Holmes ever admired, Irene Adler, will be in the film played by Rachel McAdams. Production has began in London and the film is set for release in October 2009.2
