Early Life

Shawne Brian Williams was born in Memphis, Tennessee on February 16, 1986. He attended high school at Laurinburg Institute. He continued his education at the University of Memphis. In 2006, Williams was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 17th pick in the NBA draft.¹

Pro Career

In his first season with the Pacers, Williams played in 46 games and averaged 3.9 points per game. The following season, Williams appeared in 65 games for the Pacers, and averaged 14.9 minutes per game. As of 2008, Williams has career averages of 5.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 13.7 minutes per game.²
